Don's Dream Machines c-85 or field overhaul?

I found a complete but in pieces C-85-8 that I can pick up for around 2k. I talked to my local IA and he said we could overhaul it with the stroker mod for about 14K. That would be with new cylinders, new mags, new cam... I called and talked with Don and the cost out the door for a fresh C-85-8 with no core is $19,175 plus around $500 for shipping. What do you guys think, is Don's worth the extra 4k? There are some unknowns with the purchase of a C-85 in pieces but if the old c-85 crank is good I would think that that would have some value. I could sell that outright then buy the O-200 crank. Am I missing or overlooking anything here?
