I was running the cub the other day and noticed the engine was stumbling pretty bad between 1500 and 2000 rpm. Engine is a C-85 and the outside temp. was about 25F.

The gap on the right mag was adjusted and the plugs cleaned a week earlier due to a 300 rpm drop on the right mag. Mag check was okay after this.

The engine was pretty warm, oil temp around 90F. Seemed to run fine with the carb heat on. Could this be just the fuel not atomizing correctly due to the temp? Do the removable covers for the intakes work at all?

Second question, the seller put sealed struts on just before I bought it. This was noted in the logs as part of the annual. Does this also need a 337?
thanks
Scott
