During run-up I wondered why the carb heat test didn't drop the RPM's. The Bracket Air Filter felt loose so I pulled the cowling and the air box was broken all of the way around where it bolts to the carb. I had one in the parts locker I bought on eBay but no downpipe through the bottom of the cowling. Worked fine, but those four nuts and washers are the devil to get on the studs, no clearance for my old fat fingers. New one arrived today so that was a lot of work for one day of flying. The studs were drilled but I never saw one safety wired.
