I have a 1940 model that I’m getting rebuilt. Discovered that there were no brakes for the front seat. Has anyone else found this on similar frames? The aft seat brakes look to be positioned more outboard than would be found on later model J-3’s or PA-18’s. That sound right? Naturally, I didn’t take any pics to share. If anyone has installed brakes upfront, did you do that with a 337?
