I'm showing my new Cub some love but the more I love on it the worse it's looking! The paint is in good shape except it has darkened and seems to have a film on it. I've tried everything to get it off the only thing I can find that half way works is rubbing alcohol and that take a lot of rubbing in one spot to clean it and of course you have a lighter spot back toward the original Cub yellow. The previous owner said he waxed it 23 times. I'd don't know if that had any effect.
It was painted with #138 Cub yellow butyrate.
Any suggestions of something I can use to get the film off without damaging the underlining paint.
Thanks
