BECKY TEERINK NAMED CUSTOMER SUPPORT MANAGER AT CUBCRAFTERS
It is a great pleasure to announce to all current and future customers that we have named Becky Teerink to the position of Customer Support Manager CubCrafters President Todd Simmons said today. Becky is so well qualified to fill this critical position and enhance customer and product support, especially for SPORT CUB customers. Becky is so organized and detailed and her knowledge about our aircraft is extensive. Our owners and operators can be assured of getting prompt, responsive and thorough service and support from Becky.
Ms. Teerink grew up in Minnesota where her parents passed on to her a fascination with aviation. Her father rebuilt antique tractors and she enjoyed helping out and spending time with him. In high school Becky had the opportunity to take flight lessons through the Civil Air Patrol and she earned her private pilots license. She attended LeTourneau University, a private, Christian college in Texas. She graduated with a B.S. Degree in Aeronautical Science, Concentration: Mechanical Systems, which included getting an A&P license. During college, Becky participated in a summer internship working on Learjets at Duncan Aviation. In 2005, Becky came to Yakima and soon applied for a position at CubCrafters. Becky has worked in CubCrafters Services for almost
two years and now adds to her responsibilities Customer Support Manager.
When she is not working on Cubs, Becky enjoys hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. She is also very involved in local church activities.
ABOUT CUBCRAFTERS
CubCrafters, founded in 1980 by current owner and Chairman Jim Richmond, is located at Yakima Air Terminal/McAllister Field Airport (YKM) in Yakima, WA. CubCrafters offers two all new, FAA-certified, ready-to-fly, aircraft: the second generation SPORT CUB S2, the follow on airplane to the original
SPORT CUB the long awaited redesign of the classic airplane that inspired the light sport category; and TOP CUB, the most capable two-place personal and utility aircraft. In early 2007, CubCrafters was issued only the second FAA Production Certificate in the state of Washington, and is now the only U.S. aircraft manufacturer producing and delivering both standard and LSA category aircraft under an FAA-approved quality assurance program. In 2007, CubCrafters produced a combined-model total of nearly 100 new aircraft.
CubCrafters, under the banner CubCrafters Services, is the recognized authority for re-building and modifying PA-18 Super Cubs and similar aircraft, and it stocks a broad range of STCs, PMAd parts and modification kits for the existing fleet. In 2007, more than 120 aircraft passed through CubCrafters Services for rebuild, repair, modification or routine maintenance.
CubCrafters Partners is the organization's group of preferred vendor, maintenance and training suppliers while CubCrafters Resale
is the pre-owned aircraft sales unit specializing in Cub, Super Cub and similar aircraft.
