This ties into the thread http://www.j3-cub.com//forum/showthread.php?t=28807

HERE IS A VIDEO of what happened, and what we found as the cause of the runaway throttle. Needless to say, the engine (A-65) must be completely disassembled and every part inspected.

Anyone know where in or within 200-300 miles of the DFW area I can just take the entire engine and have them do the teardown, inspect, and put it back together? I can ship further away if necessary.

And - the video has no audio

What happened in less than 8 seconds seemed like 10 minutes in slow motion. A few bruised ribs, otherwise OK.
