I'm approaching the 25hr mark post restoration. An issue I have been having is ASI under reading. After the first flight it was discovered that it was under reading by approx 10mph and confirmed it with a bench tester. Sent it back to Keystone and they were great on a quick turn. On my last trip the ASI was only reading 55-60mph in cruise...2100rpm 2000'asl...I believe I should be seeing 75-80mph.
I sent ASI back to Keystone last week...after talking with Ken he said everything tested out OK at his end.
I did blow out the line to see if anything got in there but nothing came out. So where do I go next...check all the plumbing from pitot tube to ASI or could it be as simple as the pitot tube is at the incorrect angle.
Thanks in advance.
Oh ya. Three points have been good with under reading ASI😀
