A friend needs to do an engine change in his 1949 PA11 (don't ask). One of the options he was considering was installing an O200. He sent an inquiry to TCM Continental and received an answer back that the O200 is not approved on the TC for the PA11. Given that it is the only certified engine currently being manufactured I am very surprised. It would seem to me that somewhere along the line someone, perhaps under 337 STC, must have installed one. Can anyone point me to where we might find out? Thanks all!
