Ok... tell me I'm nuts, but the Florida boy is thinking about trying skis on the bird.. (in Idaho)... maybe in February... Coeur D Alene should have plenty of snow by then... A friend has offered to loan me a pair of skis for the winter in exchange for some time in the bird. I've always thought ski flying might be fun... and besides, us ole guys don't have much brains anyway.

Couple of Questions...

1. Is a separate endorsement required? I assume not... just a sense of humor and warm clothing...

2. Federal A1500's were on the bird at one time (according the records). Anyone care to comment on which ski's you've used....

3. Mike Kincaid has offered to fly with me... (local instructor in Idaho and X Alaskan). Any helpful hints from you guys?

Warm in Florida (for the moment)
