On my last few flights in the Legend Cub, the airspeed indicator stayed on zero until I had climbed to about 50 feet, then it suddenly came up to about 65 mph. The static is inside the cabin, just a small hole in the red plastic plug in the back of the airspeed indicator.

Once the airspeed started operating, it worked correctly through out the flight down to the 3-point landing.

What do you think is the likely problem?
