I got a copy of my aircraft card today. Attached is the letter that came with it. The aircraft was transferred to US Army Ground Forces on 2nd March, 1943 and sold as surplus January, 1945. I would love to know the history of the aircraft from 3/1943 to 1/1945.

What is strange about the posting to Camp Roberts is that there was no airfield there in 1943. The first airstrip was built sometime between late 1944 and 1952. The military records show no active airfield in 1944 for Camp Roberts.
