I've checked old postings but don't find any referencing the difference between the 1280HD and the 1280HDCW. Does anyone have any experience with the cold weather Shock Cords? I live in Michigan and was wondering if it was really necessary to go to the extra expense of the CW(they are quite a bit more in cost).
