Hello all, I am new here, love the sight.

I am an LSA student (should solo next week hopefully) and am kicking around the idea of buying a plane. I have no interest in buying a new plane, too much $$$. I know very little about Cubs save for their popularity. And with that said, there is a Cub for sale that caught my attention. It is a 1943 L-4, recently restored and powered by a Cont. O-200. It is alledged in the ad that it qualifies as an LSA, I have not confirmed this yet and would do so before moving forward.

There is a head swirling amount of information about Cubs out there. I was wondering if I might get some advice on Cub specific questions to ask before driving four hours to look at this plane.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
