Long ago I had my first valve failure in Fabens Texas. A really nice guy and his wife said if I pulled the cylinder he had a seat grinder and we could fix the thing.
We did that - and drank wine and played guitar until midnight. Put the cylinder on next AM and finished the trip with no problems. One of those really fond memories.
Now I just take them to Dan and he grinds them - but I would love to own one of those grinder setups!
Anybody know what kind of parts it takes to set up for the small Continental? I am thinking one mandrel and three stones, plus a fixture to true the stones.
