I embarked upon my military career. R-Day at West Point....when hell on earth was realized. 1 July 1981, 1535 entered. Forty-seven months later 1009 others and I graduated.
Crap! Hard to believe it has been 30 years and I've been retired from the Army for several years now.
...and to keep this slightly Cub related, on that day, it had only been 12 years since my Cub had last flown.
