Okay, I made an aluminum frame holder for my iPad to fit into the pocket of the front seat of the Cub when I am flying solo. A big issue I had was the screen was black in the sun light wearing my polarized Ray-Ban® sunglasses, a real bummer making it useless on the first testing. I had the iPad positioned in portrait mode for a better flight track screen view of Foreflight®. The iPad fits in between the U-channels with the notch.

3D PDF file. ... click on link, go to "File" menu download file, open with Adobe Reader. Its a 3D PDF file, click on image use left mouse buttons to rotate view.

What I found out and what works is this .... so now I will modify my frame ... what was Apple® thinking?
