NC42995 was born Jan 4, 1946 and has been updated with a C85.

That’s Thomas on the left (82 years old); he has been the owner of this little yellow Cub for the past 45 years. At one point I thought he was going to change his mind, with the money transfer complete and all FAA paper work done … its time to go pick up my Cub and bring it home. I drove my truck so I can bring home some spare parts and a spare C85. My friend Jerry (on the right) followed me in his Taylorcraft so he can fly me back to retrieve my truck.

Home in its new hanger, I am really looking forward to this restoration. Im going to cover the Cub with Stitts and have the spare engine built up as a C-85-8 “stroker”. I will start a new thread in the restoration area when I start the project in the next few months (October/November).
