My Cub restoration moved ahead a large step today. I delivered the mostly completed fuselage (on the gear) and tailfeathers to a shop in Scott, Mississippi today. I'm having the plane finished there rather than allow it to continue to set in my hangar collecting dust. We will take the wings down in a couple of weeks, followed by the engine probably sometime after the first of the year. I'm having some work done on it locally.

I feel confident saying my Cub will fly again in 2011. It last flew in 1969 when dad flew it home on a ferry permit. It was last annualled in 1965.

I'm really looking forward to its first flight in 42 years. :D
