A Recce Pilots Experience in the
14th Reconnaissance Squadron in WWII
The YouTube item below should be of interest to the troops. Great personal story of an American pilot flying Recce over Germany in a Mk IX Spitfire including a film of him landing gear-up. It was neat hearing “alone and unarmed” mentioned by a WWII jock. He also talks about some of his tactics. Good stuff.
