I did manage to get my carb heat cable installed. But, it has a rather large black round knob that barely clears the recess cup. My fuel control has the nice red knob and bent at an angle that makes it easy to mount in the recess, and also makes it easy to grab hold of and move. I'm wondering if piper didn't originally use the sam type "bent knob method for the carb heat. If so, where can I get one? Otherwise, I may have to grind down the big black knob at the cup side for better clearance over my stencils. The knob looks suspiciously like a manual choke assebly conversion I once bought for my '54 chevy.

Thanks ahead of time for thoughts.
