I had a new Sensenich wooden prop installed on my J3-65C in 2012 and have about 130 hours on it now. I believe that at each annual since then the prop bolts were retorqued. At the 2016 annual my IA said that he was unsure of the condition of the prop at the center attachment area (crush plate ?). The circular area was uneven (an uneven denting in the outer ring of wood). Sensenich says this was due too not following a seasonal retorquing procedure. They are recommending an overhaul of the prop. I live in North Carolina. Has anyone had this issue?
