Planning to fly my Legend to to San Diego late next week to take a two day respite from the Tucson heat. My wife and I plan to do the Midway Museum and enjoy the Lamp Light District restaurants and maybe go to the Balboa Park Air Museum. I've landed at Montgomery Field in the past but that was in a faster airplane. I'm concerned about getting over-run in my Cub. Should I go to Gillespie instead? I'm assuming that Gillespie Field has rental cars. Suggestions?
