We deeply regret that we must cancel the 2011 Reklaw Flying M Ranch Fly-In and Campout due to the complete lack of rain, and none in the forecast,
1000 campers, 500 airplanes and 50 motorhomes on the airport property it is just to much to risk. The local volunteer fire department is already exhausted enough with putting out fires.
There is no way to expect that we can make up 20 inches of rain between now and Oct. 21, so for the first time in 27 years, we sadly must cancel the fly-in this year.
We will deeply miss all of you, and hope to see you next year . If it rains.
PRAY FOR RAIN IN TEXAS.
And pass the word around for us . We will be putting an X on the airstrip that weekend.
