Preventing damage/wear as you enter or exit your Cub?

It would seem that over time the "door sill" would accumulate a lot of wear as one's butt is parked on or dragged over the sill when you or a passenger are getting into the front seat.

Do you put anything there to minimize that damage, and if so, what do you use?
