What size tire are you guys running on the Maule 4" tailwheel?
Everything I researched came back with 2.80x2.50-4 as the right tire. Went to replace the worn one to find it was a Goodyear 8.00x3, just a little shorter and fatter. When the new one was mounted up, it just barely rubs on the tailwheel support, mostly just the tire nubbins, but still spins pretty well, had it at about 40 psi. What are you guys using? Is this normal?
Did get the new exhaust all installed today so should be back in the air as soon as the weather improves.
