oil filters..

Does anyone use an oil filter on a C85 8 series[or 0-200] powered J3 ?? If so , which adapter do you use and is the change worth it?? This engine has 1900 hrs [since major] and I've always found it a bit of a pain to have to remove the temp sensor to clean the screen..
