Just got back from a warn, sunny and windy picnic. 6Y3 is a beautiful 3000' grass strip maintained by the Recreational Aviation Foundation (Johnson Creek, etc). No buildings or services on the island. Just picnic tables, firewood, camping spots and an outhouse. There is a sign-up sheet with a note that text messages can be sent from the sand bluffs on the east end of the island if a pilot experiences machinical trouble. Otherwise there is no cell service. Pristine wilderness. Plus a picture of me.
