Hello People my name is Don P G, I had a hand in restoring NC24500, I and my Partner Loren restored her from 1995 to Late 1999 in Orlando Florida. She was a complete basket case but after a lot of determination she flew again ! I’d say the best part of the restoration was the partnership of me being 31 and Loren being 70 and the friendship we developed, he was a great friend and had a good run lasting until he was 87.
I know the NC24500 is still out there somewhere and I hope that whoever the caretaker is now is enjoying her gift of flight.
