Took some photos for the latest thread, and now cannot find it. While I like the engine hoist solution, here is my tool:



This shows the cord ready to be pulled horizontal. I was by myself, so you just have to imagine the strut going off horizontally to the left, and the jack stretching the bungee.

Once the bungee is stretched, the strut goes 180 degrees, as shown below, two nails are removed from that big half- pipe, and the bungee is popped upward.



So far, it has worked marvelously. I use it in reverse to remove old bungees.
