I removed my Bendix SF4R-8 mags from my A-65 and sent them off to be overhauled. Several weeks passed and I received my mags. Got them on and timed but when I went to reattach the plug leads to the mags I discovered that the lead terminals which the manual says are marked (1-4) are blank.....and I cannot remember the orientation to save my soul. There is a small disk molded into the top of the mag next to each of the terminals and I assume that at one time they had numbers punched into but these 70 year old mags appear to be devoid of any marks indicated which plug wire should be attached to it....can anyone help? I would be very grateful to hear from anyone with an A-65 equipped with similar mags?
