Hi,
found this interesting clip said to show scenes from Normandy in 1944. 5-8 min into the clip shows L-4 operations including camoflague efforts, maintenance and flying with some entertaining mocked "in air" photo of a L-4 pilot reporting coordinates while the camera is rocked to give the illusion of flight. Nice clip giving a feel for how a more serious side of Cub flying was.

Just (L-)4 fun/ Jörgen
P.S. Paul, what do you make of the antenna installations? I spot both the "reel-and drag chute"-type antenna and the "bull-whip"-type. D.S.
