Hello Everyone!

I just did a search on the site about using Jump - Starter for radio and GPS and came up empty.

I'm wondering how using the Jump Starter pictured below would work for my Icom and GPS on my Iphone. This one has a 5V DC USB port , as well as a 12V DC outlet (cigarette lighter) for 5 amps max. This unit weighs just under 10 pounds. Is there a disadvantage or more importantly, safety hazards that makes it not a good idea for this use and any thoughts to mitigate hazards.

Thanks for any input!
Denny
