Looking for advice on what to look for as a buy or who/where to go to ask. I found a few thoughts/comments here & there online but everything is years old. Maybe a J4 forum someplace?
1940 Piper J-4-A s/n 4-1161 2908 AFTT Continental A-75 s/n 4866768. 926 SMOH. 2900ETT.
08/01/2015 last annual. Squawks are the exhaust, no paperwork for the seats.(Cessna 150 seats installed but apparently no paperwork) and weak brakes. Brand new exhaust on hand, $1500.00 extra.
Univair struts and forks installed in 2005
Unknown if it's been hangered or not but I sure hope so.
