I've run across an interesting 135 hp L-18C. It's ex USAAF #51-15555, built in 1951. It's British registered, but owned and based in Ireland, at Weston Airport.
The thing that I find interesting about it is that it appears to have a PA11 nosebowl, upper cowl, and sparkplug bumps. Is this standard for the L-18C ? (what I know about these planes wouldn't fill a thimble....)
