I finally found a BC-659 I could afford. Bought this one on ebay this evening.

I had been networking among the military vehicle guys and the best prices I could find were $800 and $1,000 dollars. The one I bought is not perfect but with a little work I think I can make it look pretty good.
I already have a NOS AN-29 antenna that is in perfect condition, so I am almost good to go.
