The bug season is on us. A simple wash does not cut it, especially when dead midges are sticking on the wings. My mechanic suggested that I rub with Goop hand cleaner. The Cub is painted with Poly Tone. Requesting feedback if anybody has used Goop hand cleaner before. The big question is whether it could do any long term damage? If yes, is there any other cleaning product that is safe on the paint and the covering that will not involve washing the airplane?
