I've discovered my fuel tank is not level. It's canted around 5-7 degrees or so to the right. This prevents the fuel rod from being perfectly vertical.
How can I re-adjust this? I am assuming I can drain the tank and loosen the 4 strap bolts and re position the tank so it is level. A quick look underneath shows the bolts are relatively easy to get to, but they are not very long. Maybe 1/2 to 5/8 inch below the nut is showing. I would prefer not to take all the nuts off from the straps.
Anybody know if this attempt would work? Or, is there anything else that would impede or prevent this by just loosening the nuts and 'wiggling' the tank a little to re-level it?
Either way it does not look like this will be easy due to confined working space.
