Gentlemen and Ladies too. I have found a 46 J3 in Souther Illinois on Barnstormer that sounds interesting. I have been looking for and watching the prices go "balsitic" over the past year. This was a complete rebuild in 1994. TT 3100, SMOH 280 with the latest compression check of 77/80 on all 4. This cub has been flown for light sport training about 100 hours this last year. The only extra it has is a 12 gal wing tank on the right side. Strut AD has not been corrected. Original cream faced instruments. September 06 the cub has it's annual. The cylinders are chrome and it uses about a quart of oil every 10-12 hours.? The gentlemen's name is Tom Baker. He wants 28K. Any advise, comments, recomendations etc would be appreciated...You all have a lot more history and knowledge than I. This will be my re-entry into aviation after a career of work, family etc etc. Thanks in advance......Gary
