Anyone know which L-4 this is? The contract was amended "to remove the requirement to have the aircraft in flying condition." It states there is an Attachment A with pictures of the L-4, but I can't find any Attachment A.

b. PURPOSE. This PWS defines the tasks a licensed Contractor will be required to perform. The contractor shall restore an L-4 Piper Grasshopper Army Observation Aircraft.
c. BACKGROUND. L-4 Piper is an educational exhibit program of the Fort Sill National Historic Landmark and Museum (Fort Sill Museum) and needs it restored to interpret early Fort Sill Aerial Observation operations during WWI and WWII. Fort Sill Museum is required to train and educate Soldiers and the public on the history of the aerial observation at Fort Sill.
2. NATURE AND SCOPE OF WORK.
a. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE. Will be determined at time of award. Contractor is responsible for pick up, complete restoration and delivery of restored aircraft to museum.
b. SCOPE OF WORK. The contractor shall perform the following tasks:
(1) Task 1. This requires the complete removal and recovering of the fabric surface of the aircraft threw Silver. Repairs to any metal or wood frame members; replacement of tires. Plexiglas windows repaired/replaced if necessary. Exterior surfaces to be painted/finished in historically accurate colors with appropriate emblems and markings. All repairs or replacements shall give preference to retention of original components as much as possible.
(2) Task 2. Do a complete engine overhaul and restoration for appearance only, including related accessories, attachments, cables, or fuel and oil lines. Engine will not be operational, but should look like one for educational purpose.
Museum will provide specifications as required and make decisions in any event about accuracy.
5. SCHEDULE AND GOVERNMENT REVIEW.
a. Work shall start upon award of contract. Anticipated period of performance is a 12 month period from contract award date.
b. Contract completion time is no later than 30 September 2011.
