On Saturday four Cubs from LI ate their way through the state of Connecticut. Two 65's an 85 and a Legend first went to the Pancake breakfast at Skylark near Bradley AP. I used METO power in the Legend to insure early arrival before the rest of them got there. After breakfast I noticed an interesting event. All the J3's were lined up at the gas pump and all their pilots were lined up at the men's room.

After much discussion it was determined that we wouldn't get home in time for lunch anyway, so we might as well stop for lunch. We went to Goodspeed in East Haddam and a 5 minute walk later we were in a very nice restaurant. We all waddled back to our Cubs and temped fate and the Gods of Continental by flying across the LI sound twice in one day.

Somebody took a cellphone picture and if it turns up, I'll try to post it. All in all, one of those days that makes it all worth while.
