Hopefully this link should take you to the Feb '45 Field Artillery Journal.

An article on page 98 is about air op's using L-4's in the South Pacific.

It's interesting to read they flew off carriers, don't hear much about that in the Pacific. But with the amount of carriers about I'm surprised you don't see more pictures or articles on this.

Also of note are the coments regarding always flying over weight with a load of 411lbs, not including the pistols, rockets and knives😯
