Each time I fly my L4 (43-29085) I notice that I acquire quite a bit of oil tailings on my left gear. The Breather tube for the crank case is located on the right side up front in line with the front of the eye Brow. I was told that it was normal for the oil drippage and that the prop wash was responsible for the left gear catching the oil. Sounds plausible to me. But it sure makes a mess. I noticed on some of the old pics that a tube ( crank case vent??) was farther aft ( above the landing frame) (cabiner??) Do other folks have the similar issue and is there so way of lessening the oil drippage. It really is not a lot of oil but it sure spreads out in the slipstream. Thoughts??
