I have a 1952 L18-C with a C90-8f and the hot starts always seem to include a lot of work. I have heard a few techniques from the old timers including “leave the throttle open after shutting down to keep it from drawing in more fuel while hot” to the “ throttle wide open and 10 props backwards to clear it and then start as normal.” Still seems to take 15 minutes of work to finally get it going. It always starts easy when cool, first prop. Looking for any other techniques to make a hot start a little easier. Thanks!
