I could not find that thread that lamented that Aeroncas are selling for more than Cubs - but here is a good Aeronca for $20 grand:

On the same forum you can find them advertised for twice that, but if you check back, I bet this one sells and the $40 grand ones don't.

Speaking of lost, my ground instructor says that the FAA now wants us to teach circling when lost. Things are changing . . .
