I replaced my 0145 Lycoming with an A65 I built up with new milleniam cylinders and a lot of other new parts and a climb prop a year ago. After a year of flying I can't imagine a larger power plant. The A65 is spectactular compared to my Lycoming. Climb, cruise, everything. Just fabulous. Must be why this is the most popular combination. Really happy. Did not expect any difference in the two but wow. After 30 years flying behind the Lycoming, which I thought was great until parts became non-existant, I am in heaven.
