A-9 & Battery Addition

I am looking to install a Sky Tech starter on a C-85-12. Does anyone know if I can use the "Batt" position on the A-9 mag switch to trip the power on the solenoid, and then just put the push button for the starter?

So, to start it I could switch the mag switch through the BATT, L, and R, to BOTH, and then push the starter button?

Or do I need a separate master switch?
