Cubbers,

Have any of you guys seen or know of anyone who's gotten a field approval or 337 for installation of the Macauley 74" 1B90 on a C-85? The Sensenich metal 74" M76AK-2 is authorized, so I wondered if a FSDO anywhere might allow the Macauley 74".

I've got the Mac 74" almost new from my A-65, and would rather not clip it, if that's even possible, as it would take 3 inches off. That said, I'm considering all possibilities before resorting to footing the bill for a new metal prop from either manufacturer.

Lastly, any suggestions on the best (cheapest, yet not damaging) way to ship my engine from AL back to WA?

Mike-
