Its time to pass out the cigars. My 1941 J3 has just completed about 8 months of restoration. I have not made the first flight (forgot to get the insurance in place in time) however it should happen this week. Included in the restoration is also the engine upgrade from the 65HP Cont to a 85 Stroker built by Dons dream machines. The restoration was done in North Texas by David Foster. David did a great job and I would recommend him to anyone. There are about 400 pictures of the entire project which can be found here:
