Hi,

I recently bought a '45 J3 and it came with skis. I have in the past flew a friends cub on skis and the engine tended to quit on final in the winter time. The question is what can I do to prevent this on my Cub? Is there a winterization kit of some sort of cover or muff that I can install on the little C65 to help keep it warm while doing takeoffs and landings with the skis? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
